Located in the former Grayco hardware building, Local Legend takes a warehouse-meets-cozy aesthetic to create an environment that’s more than just a brewery and beer garden. Inspired by the legendary people and places that shaped Hilton Head in its earliest days, every detail from the decor to the brews honors the spirit of the island.
SERG partner and culinary mastermind, Chef Alan Ford, has created a menu that traverses the best of American food culture. From Maryland-style crab cakes and Kentucky-inspired smash burgers to New England cod sandwiches and Nashville hot fried chicken, the selection of dishes will satisfy every palate.
For the crafters at Local Legend, brewing isn’t just a hobby, it’s a passion. With the help of a team led by Navy veteran and Master Brewer Stephen Streeter, who brings years of expertise from North Carolina to Colorado, Local Legend produces a lineup of brews that are sure to delight. The menu even includes a gluten-free option for those who have restrictions.
Using the Local Legends feature, Strava rewards athletes who travel a segment the most times in a rolling 90 day window. Athletes who become a Local Legend earn a “Laurel” crown icon next to the segment on their activity page and on the segment details page. Efforts made before the segment was created will not count towards Local Legends, and only activities visible to “Everyone” will be considered. Learn more about activity privacy controls here.
The Local Legends feature is available to all Strava athletes (free and paid) who have their privacy settings set to “Everyone”. To see your achievements, click on your profile picture in the top navigation bar then select Segments > Local Legends.
